Quick and easy download instructions for
Adobe Acrobat Reader

Step - 1  Create a folder on your hard drive called "Areader"
Step - 2  Click the Acrobat Reader icon on the Reader page; you will get a screen like the one below

Step - 3   Click the Windows link in the Readers table (shown in red in the image below)

Step - 4   Under the "All versions" table, click the Acrobat Reader for Windows - "All Languages" link to continue

Step - 5   In step 1 on the Adobe web page, select the language, Platform (what operating system you use on your computer), and the connection speed you have with your computer (Dial-up modem or Broadband service)

.When the download is complete, the above dialogue box will disappear

.

Step - 6   In step 2 of the Adobe web page, see that "Download the full version..." is checked, then click the red   > DOWNLOAD  button

NOTE: some images are chopped to reduce the file
size of the image for faster loading on your computer

Step - 7   The dialogue box below will appear; click the   [ Save ]   button to continue the download

Step - 8   Change the location of the  Save in:  folder, from whatever default location is showing, to the folder "Areader" you created earlier

Step - 9   Clicking the  [ Save ]  button in the above window will save the compressed Acrobat reader file to your "Areader" folder and display a progress bar as shown below

When the download is complete, the above dialogue box 
will disappear, and the Optimizer box (below) will appear

when the above progress bar completes, the Acrobat
Reader setup file will be in your "Areader" folder

Proceed with installing Acrobat Reader on your computer.
